 Job Overview:We are looking for a CAD Technician who will work with data and documentation from aerospace companies like Boeing, Spirit, Lockheed, Northrop, etc. The role involves managing part data and specification requirements for the manufacture of aerospace components. The technician will prepare this information for our estimators, who use it to calculate project costs.Key Responsibilities:CAD Work: Download and manage 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.Part Data Management: Handle part data and specifications related to incoming bid packages assembly the entire data set to allow our estimating team to accurately and efficiently estimate requests for quotes (RFQs)Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, estimators, and manufacturing teams to make sure everything is ready for production.Data Preparation: Prepare part information and specifications for estimators so they can calculate costs.Required Skills:CAD Experience: Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX, or similar).Understanding of Specifications: Familiarity with technical drawings, part data, and related specifications.Attention to Detail: Ability to check and ensure data accuracy for manufacturing and quality needs.Communication: Good communication skills to work effectively with other teams.Preferred Experience:Experience working in a engineering/manufacturing environment with a high level of CAD and documentation control competence.
