Job Qualifications
Students working towards bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering preferred. A strong technical aptitude along with the ability to work independently, yet interact closely with manufacturing engineers, technicians, operations and vendors.
We are seeking a candidate with strong cross functional team skills. Excellent verbal, written and computer skills required as well as mathematical, analytical, problem solving and organization skills. Must be able to read prints and schematic drawings and have a working proficiency with SolidWorks.
Intern position will be flexible to work around breaks, weekly school schedule, etc.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesIntern position will be tasked with various short/long term projects primarily focused on design and drafting of manufacturing drawings and tooling. Intern will gain experience in equipment design, root cause analysis, trend analysis and process improvement activities within industrial setting.
