Must have ability to communicate (spoken and written) in English.CENTERLESS GRINDER swing shift: (Cincinnati) Proficient to perform set-up, includes dressing of wheels, installation of appropriate work holder, angles and speeds of wheels, truing of the wheels; adjust flow of cutting oil, grease machine and maintain clean workstation.Adept at profiling, TD’s, shanks, undercuts and flush heads.Assist in training of new operators.Expected to have strong knowledge of common bench grinder, micrometers, cams, optical comparators, indicator plug, depth and go/no go gages; use of hand tools, including box, end wrenches and scale. Must be familiar with shop practices and terminology. PUNCH PRESS: Proficient to perform set-up and operate manual feed ram-type punch press to broach, form or stamp precision products. Experienced using common hand tools, bench grinder, micrometers, optical comparators, and indicator plug, depth and go-no go gages, cutting tools and reading drawings. ACME GRIDLEY SCREW MACHINE swing shift: Experienced to perform set-up and make adjustments; operate multiple spindle automatic screw machines involving multi-tool set ups on six cross slides; multiple indexing of the carriage per cycle to perform several machining operations on diversified line of special and standard parts to close tolerances.Strong understanding of operational sequences, tooling, tool arrangements, cams, settings, timing, tool feed rates and clearances for operations to: turn, deep length, counter sink, face, tap, etc.; install chucks and collets; set and secure tooling in holders, set tooling stops, cams and indexing mechanisms, operating travel and tool feed rates; set stock feed mechanism and stops.Adjust flow of cutting oil, remove chips; grease machines and maintain clean work area. Perform light maintenance of machines to include changing drive belts, cams and pins when required.Diagnose machine malfunctions, set up and operating difficulties causing deviations and make corrective adjustments.Work from drawings, specifications and work instructions.Assist in training of new operators.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~We are an essential business.
