Inventory & Tooling Management Analyst

Perform a variety of Inventory & Tooling Property Management activities, including: Inventory maintenance, Management of PPI-Owned & Government/Customer Owned Tooling Property, coordinate with warehouse shipping and receiving, staging, and purchasing assistance; and other duties as assigned.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Create analyses using large volumes of detailed data and historical sales to develop item level and aggregate demand forecasts used to plan production and synchronize supply with customer demand.Gather data, analyze information, and utilize statistical methods to develop and maintain demand plans and work towards continuous improvement of forecast accuracy.Monitor and provide updates on inventory levels with recommended improvements and changes for slow moving and obsolete inventories to maximize revenues and minimize losses.Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and perform end of month inventory cycle counts.Recommend and analyze potential improvements in supply chain processes and key operational functions.Manage Inventory of Tooling on site (PPI) and at suppliers, perform Disposition and Asset Identification duties. The Asset Identification process includes the physical identification of tangible assets (PPI-owned and Government/Customer owned property), reviewing acquisition documents, identifying ownership, determining proper property classifications, assigning and affixing property control number barcode labels, and creating property records (data input) into SAP.Support additional projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned by Supply Chain Manager.BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.1-5 years of supply chain experience, or relevant field. Aerospace preferred.Experience working with excel-based forecasting models.Exposure to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; SAP is preferred.Excellent communication skills to work with partnering organizations (e.g. Receiving, Program Management, Contracts, Accounting, Operations Management, as well as various engineers and technicians).PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Able to work extended hours when required by business needs.Able to travel by air or ground as required by business demands.Must be able to move about in an industrial setting, wear personal protective equipment, and to occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 25kg.ITAR RequirementThis position requires the use of information which is subject to compliance with International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR).
